What will you be doing in this role?

  • Prospecting for new clients with a “hunter” mentality
  • Participating in meetings with the client to present proposals, offer solutions, and close business
  • Placing a strong priority on attention to detail and organization
  • Accurately forecast sales revenues for 30/60/90 days
  • Translate client needs into scope of work documents
  • Present and propose compelling business cases to clients
  • Follow the sales process, using the tools and technology that support it
  • Responsible for the relationship with each prospective client
  • Wield the resources of the company to solve client issues
  • Manage and solve conflicts with clients
  • Identify new sales opportunities through cold-calling, email, networking, and building relationships with vendors/partners
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, service, and install to deliver value to the client
  • Achieves sales targets for Install Revenue, RMR, and Contribution Margin
  • Work through a list of targeted accounts to gain new clients
  • Work independently and through ambiguity in order to solve client needs
  • Performing all other duties as assigned


  • Basic technical knowledge of networks, IT infrastructure, electrical theory, software interfaces, and the ability to understand blueprints and experience in tech
  • 2 or 4-year degree. Business focus preferred, but not required.  
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, and be able to pass background screening and drug test (including marijuana) (our Security License with the State of Michigan requires thorough background checks and places certain restrictions on hiring)
  • Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers.
