You must have prior success growing a small sales organization from six salespeople to twelve, and from $10M to $20M. You should have experience selling office furniture, office equipment, IT service, IT hardware, or technology products in a distribution model and have some experience with commercial construction.
You are comfortable in the board room and on a sales call in a construction trailer.
You excel at building relationships with clients and sales reps.
You are a sales professional who must work at an organization that treats their salespeople with respect, values their efforts, and invests in coaching their people.

You are great at aligning business strategy with sales tactics. You must be highly skilled at coaching your sales team, recruiting new sales talent, and building a sales culture with accountability and performance. You should be great at managing a sales pipeline using sales scorecards and deal coaching. You understand the value of a CRM to pipeline management, but don’t rely on the data alone for coaching and management.
You have experience contributing to a leadership team and are comfortable reporting to the CEO. Experience selling to C-suite business owners is helpful.
This position requires less than 5% overnight travel. This position is exclusive to sales management and coaching of different levels of experience without feeling compelled to close opportunities. This position will not carry an individual sales quota. The successful candidate will be part of the company’s leadership team.
Bonuses will be commensurate with the overall success of the team. You must have a prior income of at least $75-80k.
