In this role, you'll be supporting the Purchasing Manager by ensuring materials are delivered on time, maintaining a tidy warehouse, and keeping inventory well-organized. Additionally, you'll assist HR in planning and coordinating team events for an awesome experience!


What you would do in this role: These are the general areas of outcomes this role is responsible for.


Material Handling
  • Receive all ordered materials on the day of arrival and issue them to the respective shelf, ticket, or inventory bin.
  • Pull requested material from inventory as determined by the Purchasing Manager to meet or exceed due dates.
  • Ship all material timely and accurately for jobs, tickets, returns, and repairs.
  • Track inventory levels
  • Backfill for Purchasing Manager during their absence.

Warehouse Management

  • Maintain a warehouse so clean and organized that our team would be proud to show clients.
  • Perform cycle counts as requested by Purchasing Manager to keep inventory organized and accurate.
  • Organize tools, job supplies, ladders, and miscellaneous items stored in the warehouse.
  • Return recyclables (scrap wire, batteries, cans, etc.) as the bins become full.
  • Assist in training new team members on warehouse procedures
  • Maintain and promote a safe work environment by following OSHA guidelines 

Support Fleet

  • Facilitate vehicle repairs by picking up vehicles and dropping them off as requested.
  • Remove inventory & tools from vehicles upon turnover or decommissioning.
  • Complete requests for additional truck stock from the field team

Team Experience 

  • Help coordinate team events and experiences for team members
  • Coordinate and schedule events/lunches/meetings 
  • Help plan and set up for events

Job requirements

  • Authorization to work in the US 
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, can drive a company vehicle, and be insurable under a fleet policy 
  • Must be able to pass a background screening and drug test (including marijuana) as our Security License with the State of Michigan requires thorough background checks and places certain restrictions on hiring. 
  • Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly to communicate with team members and/or other clients. 
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
